Super Bowl(Bore!) Sunday

Got to admit I could really care less about today's Super Bowl...folk paying $2500 to $10,000 per ticket?....you've got to be kidding!

The New York Giants take on the New England Patroits at around 6:30 this evening...the Pats trying to go 19-0....I'm half-assed rooting for NY, just because I don't have any respect for the Patroits coach or their Michigan Grad at QB.....Billy Belichick is a confirmed cheater and liar, and Tom Brady parades around bragging about his out of wedlock child, with his super model girlfriend, like some kind of George Cloony Hollywood hot shot....neither one would you want your kids to look up to.....together they make a sort of, Bill Clinton of the NFL.

So, after doing my daily tours, and chores, I will set down tonight about 6PM...crack open a long neck Miller Lite, and watch with little interest, for awhile.....before I turn the TV to a good movie on Turner Classic Movies....or shutting it off and getting a good night's sleep....have to work early tomorrow, don't ya know?

Even though our predicted "major" snow event went both east and west of here....we got caught in the calm middle...I'm still sick of winter. I think the Groundhog saw in shadow, but Hell, we will have at least 6 weeks of winter in this area, no matter what the rodent did.

Yeah, I'll watch XLII (how DO you pronounce that, anyway?), too. But only for the ads. I couldn't care less about who wins.

Football season was over for me three weeks ago.

I had no dog in the race either, but it was a close game nonetheless. I actually enjoyed it...eating chili and munching on some of the rolls FHB posted. A good day with just a cold rain.

Yep, I don't really care ether. Torn between not wanting to see NY win out of spite (cowboy fan), and not wanting to see the others have a "perfect" season after cheating. In the end, I loved watching the better team win, and the brother angle was cool too.
