Another Storm Goes Bust!

You gotta wonder how these so-called "experts" on the Weather Channel and elsewhere can collect a check?

The "White Death" was headed our way...6-9 inches and strong east winds...happy to say, they blew it again. We may have gotten 1/2'" of snow with a light mix of rain and sleet...the roads are a little slippery, but the 3rd straight stong storm that has been called for, has missed us.

Looking at the maps however, I gotta believe Bruno:

and Cookie:

were not so lucky......

Things are pretty busy, working 4 mornings this week at Greenville, Dartball last night, and our State High School Baseball Rules Meeting in Piqua tonight.....working on a couple of stories and will get to them as the week moves along.

I think Kentucky got plenty of ICE Mushy, but I don't think you want that?

Let's have a stormy debate with your weather experts, Pat!

Denise's kids in Kentucky got blasted by ice, so I don't know how Mushy's avoiding it all. It's breezy and in the mid 60s here. Sunny, but they're sayin' we might get as low as the 30s over night by the weekend.

Ashville N.C. got snow, but North Georgia got rain, always a welcome event. There's a cold wind blowing outside right now, though.

It's funny how things change... when I was a kid I was disappointed as all get out when a storm didn't happen as advertised. Now I'm grateful as all Hell, especially where ice is involved. These days the only place I wanna see snow is on the teevee. I've seen more than enough snow in my life, thankyouverymuch.

That said, we're supposed to get snow and such this evening. We'll see...
