The Midwest Athletic Conference(high school style)___
Is one of the most powerhouse small school conferences when it comes to Sports and Academics in Ohio and the Nation....the number of State Champions is something hard to comprehend for 11 small schools nowhere near any large diversified cities. A group of schools that reside in Mercer, Auglaize, Darke, and Allen Counties, that have produced some of the best College and Professional athletes you will find...especially given the size and population of the area and schools.
For over 10 years there has been a web location and forum where the folks out of my area have talked MAC Sports and the world's problems as well....today, July 1, 2010, marked a new beginning for the site, and it has been expanded to include not only the forums, but videos, web pages for each individual school, blogs, calendars, and local happenings....I am pretty pleased to be a part of the effort to expand the outreach of The MacOnline:
The forums have always been a favorite spot to visit....
and a certain semi/not so famous sports official will give his views on various topics in the world of Sports Officiating a few times a week....
Stop by, even if you are not from the area....you might find something that you will enjoy, or at least get a chuckle out of.
Today is my lone day away from Baseball for the next 9 days...so I'm heading north to Rick's. They are in their new house, he turns 60 today, and I plan of fishing in his pond...I will return, in the meantime, stop by the MacOnline and give me your feedback.
