Just another day..rain free for once

Not a lot going on....so here tis:

We got our scrimmage in at Eastview Park last night....Coldwater joined Celina and played 6 innings, but both teams testing pitching rotations...I worked the plate for two hours.  Tonight the regular ACME season begins, with Jimmy R at Convoy Crestview against Lincolnview.  Tomorrow at Spencerville vs Lima Bath.

The 30% chance of storms missed us and went north into Michigan after clearning western Indiana...not rain prediced until Friday...then a 30% storm chance.  Cooler by a bit, and less humid today and tomorrow.

The Pekingese(?) dog is still with us...still looking around for owners, but so far no takers.....will keep looking, for now he is fine...outside.  He is interested in coming in the house, but that ain't happening....

Time for some mowing...then off to the funeral home...our neighbor from my High School days and by buddies, the Jones Brothers, dad, Bob Senior passed away over the weekend at the age of 85....hard to believe he was just 37 when we moved to Montezuma...time does fly...
