Sullivan, MO and Sayre, OK

Sam's laptop takes some getting used to...keyboard, plus the fact that it doesn't have floppy drive.....he says they are outdated, oh well! No photos to share until I return on Wednesday.

Picked up units at noon yesterday...got out of Celina just before the storm hit....blizzard like in Ohio and Kentucky...they even cancelled the Girls State Basketball finals in Ohio...not sure if they will make them up tomorrow or when.....Hal said they had near 15 inches in Dayton, Patricia says alot in Celina, but no totals yet. No problem for us...wind at our back yesterday...stayed on I-44 Flying J in Sullivan, Missouri, last night.....today, sunshine and cool, with little wind across MO and Oklahoma....staying at another Flying J, this one outside Sayre, OK...about 20 miles from the Texas panhandle......will cross that tomorrow and stay at the RT 66 Casino just west of Albuquerque.....Shawn the dispatcher asked me to drop mine off at Aloha RV Monday, pick up another and take it following Sam to Fontana...about 10 mines from where he is dropping his off.....needs a paint fix-up or some such....easy $500 extra.

So the plan is win a few bucks($25 limit for me, big spender..lol)...take the BT back ABQ....then head to So Cal...drop the units off...then on to LAX fly out on a Red Eye for Chicago....backtrack back to Nappanee...and home by Wednesday Night......at least that's the plan...with these RV runs you never know.

Anyway...photos and details when I return.....thanks for stopping by and sorry for any type-0s and other mistakes.....

later......tomorrow from outside the Big A.

I LOVE Flying Js... they're VERY RV-friendly (with propane, even!) and their restaurants do some great road-food. I still have a Flying J map around somewhere...and it was never far out of reach back in the day when Ilived on the road...

Take care and Safe Travels, Pat.

Dude, that spot in Ok. is about 12 hours from here. It'd almost be the same as drivin' to Mushy's place. Hilarious.
