Harvest Moon

10:30pm

After finishing my Recreational Football League playoff double header this afternoon...to ease my back, I sat out on the front porch and decided to partake in a amber type seasonal brew.....bought a six pack of Harvest Moon Ale made by Blue Moon out of Canada and shipped through Coors...with it I clipped a Cusano PI Torpedo out of the Dominican Republic....both helped ease the pain in my back and the news that the Bengals of Cincinnati have returned to being the Cincinnati Bungles...losing to sad sack Kansas City to drop to 1 win and 4 loses on the season.....

Harvest Moon is a pumpkin flavored ale that doesn't leave a heavy aftertaste...it's brewed and sold in the fall....runs about $6.50 a six pack of bottles.

Anyway, I thought the Ale and Cigar made a decent sepia photo together...now back to watching the rain fest in Colorado as the Rockies take on the D-backs.

Cool picture. I'd love to sit out there and enjoy a few with ya. Pumpkin flavored though? Eeew.

Yep, I got to listen to my mom shout a few expletives as the Cowboys sucked it up today. I learned most of my best cuss words watching the Cowboys with mom. Hope your fantasy football team didn't suffer too much.

VERY nice pic, Pat!

It'll be an interesting World Series if the Rockies win the NL, eh? One wonders just how many snow delays there'll be, in that case...

FHB...pumpkin flavored?? or so it says...but nothing like the taste of pumpkins...Hell I would not drink that...this stuff is pretty different, but I wouldn't want to get drunk on the suff...goes good with cigars.

Buck

If the world series goes 7 games, the last game would be November 1st...Colorado, Boston, or Cleveland? Any could be interesting weather...but heck it's back to 79 here in western Ohio today, so who knows?

Yes, I loved the photo and the jealousy I had inside. Haven't felt much like doing any of that in almost 2 weeks now. Soon!
