MRI Time

After a quick morning at Greenville...I headed over to Fort Wayne to FWO and checked in with the Orthopedic Surgeon....read the 3 week old X-Rays and basically told me the same thing as the Chiropractor....your 5th(lowest) disk appears to be rubbing bone to bone....Ya Think? Anyway the MRI is scheduled for Thursday at noon in our local hospital in Coldwater....will hand carry those over to Fort Wayne next Wednesday....and begin the path to recovery....always the optimist....yah, right!

The last 2 weeks have been a "trip" with drives to Akron, Columbus, and Wisconsin...now back and forth to Fort Wayne and Greenville....so the walking and apparent recovery have been "set back".

Anyway Thanksgiving in Wisconsin went well...our entire family was there and all of Patricia's family made an appearance.....can't ask for much more than that.

Good luck with that. I cringe when I think about going to hospitals.

That's really cool that you've got all those folks supportin' you like that. Must say somethin' about you. Hope everything turns out good. You'd think by now they'd have that stuff down, since so many people suffer from it.

Hope someone can get to the bottom of this for you, and soon.

Ironic how they saddle the patient with the job of delivering his or her own MRI results. I got the same duty after the two-in-a-row I had done after my stroke. Actually, my wife did the footwork, I wasn't in much shape to be movin' around for a few weeks yet! And to top it off, I ended up keeping the original films to this day! Man, I can remember the time you'd have to KILL somebody to lay a hand on that kinda info...!

The Doc gave me some Celebrex for the pain....Hell all that stuff does is make you goofy....I took some today, but tomorrow I go back to the IBpro and a couple of cold ones.....This thing needs to be on the fast track. I can ride out the winter with a backache and limited mobile parts...but if possible I want to be back at it by baseball season this spring....gonna be Hell getting back in shape at my age(58), but am bound and determined to do it.

Thanks to all.....tomorrow I plan on getting back to regular postings.
