The Family-Florida Years

Great pics, Pat. I'm sure your family appreciates your efforts (as well as us Ol' Farts who like the historical aspect of your pics). Just reinforces the fact that I need a scanner!!

Good, you could almost place me in some of those shots and it would be my family. We've led similar lives and ended up in similar places over the years!

I love to read your posts, because it's almost like reading about me!

Thanks Guys....appreciate it...I've got 5 or 6 blogs I read on a daily basis...as winter and cold weather sets in I will have more time to go into details of my Air Force and other years.

Both you guys also need PhotoShop Elements...to bring the color back to those old shots before the completely fade away.

It's less that $100 now, and is really fun.

Also, be sure you get a scanner that copies slides...that is if you took a lot in 'Nam with slide film! Old slides fade too!

Those are great shots. Love the one with all the guns, and the long bow, piled against the wall. Pure Americana. Yep, looks a lot like our old family shots, but I guess more of mine are in color, being younger. Love these nostalgic posts.
